Life of the Party
Life of the Party is a tabletop roleplaying game about losing and finding yourself on the dance floor. Play as a group of friends saying farewell to their beloved nightclub, and making the most of their last chance to make a move - whether that’s impressing someone important, making a big payday, or telling someone how they really feel. One night could change their lives...
Life of the Party is a card-based game played in a single 2-hour session with 3-5 players. It is a GM-less, no-prep game, making it a great fit for last minute game nights or keeping in your game bag! All you need to play is this custom card deck, some index cards, and something to write with! Gameplay is inspired by classic story games like Fiasco and Microscope. All rules are contained within the card deck, no rulebook required!
The core system of Life of the Party is called “One Night, Last Chance”, with a series of forthcoming games (Thrill of the Chase available now, and Heat of the Battle coming December 2024) using the same rules to explore new settings and scenarios. This game includes the system reference document and license, so you can make your own ONLC games! The SRD is also available on its own for free here.
This game is also available as a print-on-demand card deck here.
